I found out today that the lead singer of one of my all time favorite bands had gone onto the great unknown. I felt like I lost a good friend. Lux Interior was the lead singer for The Cramps, a shockabilly, balls to the wall band. I saw then twice once in NYC and once at the Stone Pony. Both experiences were life altering. Their music is nothing short of AMAZING!!! You couldn't help but want to party your ass off when you heard them. Many a hazing night was spent with good friends listening to Lux belt out "Bikini Girls with Machine Guns". Bad Music for Bad People is one of the GREATEST albums ever made.
With his passing I feel sad. All my favorites rockers from my younger years are begining to drop like flies. It's a real drag getting old!!!!
